01.Pure silver contacts, contacts, rivets Ag

Pure silver and fine-grained silver have high electrical and thermal conductivity, low and stable contact resistance, good welding and processing performance, crystalline silver has a small amount of nickel added to the silver, which greatly refines the material structure and grains, Under the condition of almost the same resistance, its mechanical strength and temperature resistance are higher than silver. It has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity, and has a very low contact resistance, easy to process and easy to weld. It is currently one of the most commonly used materials in small-capacity low-voltage electrical appliances. For example, automatic control switches, thermal relays, timers, regulators, thermostats, baking machines, oven timers, computers, etc.

02. Silver nickel contacts, contacts, rivets AgNi(10-20)

Uses: Used in low-voltage switchgear such as thermostats, protection switches, small current contactors, automatic switches, precision instruments, relays, etc.

Features: Good electrical and thermal conductivity, low and stable contact resistance, small and uniform electrical loss, and less planar material migration when applied under DC conditions. When the material is on or off, the contact resistance is increased due to the formation of oxides, it is sensitive to sulfur, and has poor resistance to welding under high current. Often paired with graphite. By adopting the powder sintering extrusion process, the electrical contact performance can be improved. Adding a small amount of graphite to nickel can obtain composite materials with better performance.

03. Silver cadmium oxide contacts, contacts, rivets AgCdO(10-20)

Uses: Used in various contactors, plastic case air switches, leakage switches, DC fast switches, cam switches, automotive contactors, automotive protection switches, room thermostats, micro switches and large-capacity relays, and various switches for the aviation industry .

Features: Good electrical wear resistance, welding resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity, small and stable contact resistance; because cadmium oxide is distributed in a dispersed phase, it can increase the hardness of the material and improve the mechanical wear resistance; silver cadmium oxide electrical contacts Strong resistance to welding when passing short-circuit current. The electrical contact manufacturing process has a great influence on its performance. The electrical contacts manufactured by the powder metallurgy process have good resistance to welding, but the corrosion resistance is poor. The electrical contacts manufactured by the alloy internal oxidation method have good electrical loss resistance , But the welding resistance is slightly lower. The powder sintering extrusion process developed in recent years has improved the distribution of cadmium oxide in the silver base, and improved the overall performance of the electrical contacts.

04. Silver tin oxide contacts, contacts, rivets AgZnO(8-10)

Uses: Used in relays, contactors, air switches, current limit switches, motor protectors, micro switches, instruments, household appliances, automotive appliances (load switches such as light switches, starters, etc.), leakage protection switches, etc.

Characteristics: Compared with silver cadmium oxide, silver tin oxide does not contain toxic metal cadmium. The metal oxide has high thermal stability, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and has high heat resistance, arc erosion resistance and Resistance to welding, so as to ensure the reliability of electrical operation and increase the service life. In addition, silver tin oxide develops rapidly. Even in some electrical switches, silver tin oxide can be used to replace silver cadmium oxide directly without major changes. The application range is from 10A to 1000A, which is close to or even better than silver cadmium oxide in many properties.

05. Silver zinc oxide contacts, contacts, rivets AgSnO2

The AgSnO2 contact material is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, with excellent resistance to welding and arc erosion. Generally speaking, under the condition of large current, AgSnO2 has better arc erosion resistance than AgCdO; under lamp or capacitive load, AgSnO2 has stronger resistance to current impact than AgCdO and AgNi; in AC resistance Under normal load, AgSnO2 has a slightly higher contact resistance than AgCdO, but under DC lamp or motor load, it shows a low and stable contact resistance; under DC conditions, AgSnO2 material transfers less than AgCdO. AgSnO2 contact material is widely used in medium and large capacity AC and DC contactors, AC and DC power relays, automotive electrical appliances and medium and small capacity low voltage circuit breakers. The SnO2 content of the AgSnO2 contact material currently produced by Guilin Jinge Company is 8%-15%. The main production processes include atomized sintering extrusion (ASE), mixed powder sintering extrusion (MSE) and internal oxidation extrusion (IOE) , The main form of supply is wire, sheet, rivet and welding components.

Uses: Used in relays, contactors, air switches, current limit switches, motor protectors, micro switches, instruments, household appliances, automotive appliances (load switches such as light switches, starters, etc.), leakage protection switches, etc.

Features: Compared with silver cadmium oxide, silver zinc oxide does not contain toxic metal cadmium and will not pollute the environment. Among them, the metal oxide has high thermal stability, good electrical and thermal conductivity, high heat resistance, arc erosion resistance and welding resistance during the on-off process, so as to ensure the reliability of electrical operation and increase the service life.

06. Silver copper contacts, contacts, rivets AgCu

Uses: Used in AC contactors, relays, power tool switches, buttons, timers, wall switches, photoelectric switches, micro switches, etc.

Features: The contact has good electrical conductivity and the surface is not easy to oxidize. When copper (3-30%) is added, the burning resistance of silver can be significantly improved. Therefore, the contact material doped with copper can be applied up to the current level of 16A. Because the addition of copper, especially when the copper content is high (such as 10%), the material transfer phenomenon under DC working conditions can be reduced. It is widely used in the field of electrical appliances and can also replace silver integral contacts.

07. Silver tin oxide indium oxide contacts, contacts, rivets AgSnO2In

Uses: Used in relays, contactors, air switches, motor protectors, micro switches, instruments, household appliances, automotive appliances (load switches such as light switches, starters, etc.), leakage protection switches, etc.

Characteristics: Silver tin oxide indium oxide (AgSnO2ln203) is currently the most commercially valuable silver cadmium oxide (AgCdO) alternative material. Because it has better stability and higher hardness than silver cadmium oxide, it has better resistance Welding and burning resistance, especially the needle-like oxides precipitated during internal oxidation are oriented perpendicular to the contact surface, which is very beneficial to the performance of the contact. This material replaces Agcdo material for low-voltage electrical appliances such as circuit breaker switches, relays, etc., especially for automotive DC electrical appliances such as contactors, starters, light-controlled switches, and has better resistance to DC metal processes.
